Summer Select Soccer Program at Iron Peak

SUMMER SELECT SOCCER PROGRAM LAUNCHES AT IRON PEAK

Iron Peak & Hillsborough Soccer Club announce Summer Select offering (Hillsborough, NJ) May 16, 2022: Iron Peak Sports & Events (Iron Peak), New Jersey’s premier venue for sports, events, and family entertainment, along with Hillsborough Soccer Club (HSC), announce the newest summer program in Somerset County.

Iron Peak Summer Select, powered by HSC, will give soccer players a chance to participate in a competitive summer program over six weeks beginning June 20 running through July 30. The Summer Select teams will be coached by HSC’s professional and licensed staff members; all training will take place at Iron Peak.

“Iron Peak is delighted to partner with HSC to give HSC players and players from surrounding areas, the opportunity to kick their level of play this summer,” said Iron Peak Sports Director David McGillivary. “We’re excited to watch the kids excel in a sport they love, while learning from some of the sports best coaches.”

Iron Peak and HSC are seeking driven and serious soccer players who are looking to take their game to the next level with experienced coaches and players. All HSC players and players from surrounding towns are invited to tryout. Tryouts will take place at Iron Peak Sports & Events on Friday, May 20th between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Those invited into the program will be notified the week of May 23rd.

“HSC is a family and community-based organization with well over 325 active members and we are excited to partner with Iron Peak Sports & Events to offer competitive Summer Select Soccer Teams and Programming,” commented Niles Johnson, Hillsborough Soccer Club President.“Teams will be managed by high quality and experienced professional coaches, right here in the local community supporting the surrounding areas. Iron Peak’s world class training facility offers the perfect setting for players to continue to grow their game. We are excited about this new opportunity.”

Players will attend two practices per week, preparing for a minimum of two tournaments in July. Those transitioning from 7v7 to 9v9, and from 9v9 to 11v11, will use Summer Select to further their development. Use this link to register for tryouts on May 20th.
